Politics and, er, more Politics

Brexit has been changing in the public eye to a more harsh reality than was dreamt up through patriotic conversation between people, and its still changing. As the reality sinks in it will breed a political discontent that will last a long time, mainly affecting the middle classes.
Thats as far as the trend seems to be going, but the effect of Brexit might be a different story, and ignoring the fact that it might be dictated by the public, it will end up being negotiated as the best for both sides in the long run, as the UK will suffer for a few years but it will be evened out once a trade deal is finalised.

Already I believe that the British politicians have come up with a genius plan to soften up the Europeans. I think that they are intentionally disrupting their political consistency to make them look weak to the general European population. Now, this seems a bit extreme, but it will make the European population realise that leaving Europe is a bad idea, strengthening Europe and allowing more cooperation with the UK. After all Europe doesn't want people to leave their trading block because it doesn't want to fall apart, if the leavers look weak, there will be a European partriotism/fear that will give the European parliament a mandate to do what it wants. Further on it will be able to give the leavers aid, especially since that will make Europe look better.
The UK also has a stellar reputation abroad, interestingly is slowly being eroded by non European countries. It is this reason that the British can make the fantastic move of controlling the downturn in its international standing by making itself look weak through Brexit. They are using the problem to their advantage, using their weakness as a strength.
UPDATE: As the european negotioations go on, theresa may has had to make a terrible speech, where she had a coughing fit and a letter fell off the wall, which if you are in the know is like seeing history in action, and the european press has undoubtedly played up to it.
